Ok so if you are reading this you are probably one of several million faithful internet users who have been waiting patiently for the day in which I start blogging about my adventures in life through outdoor sporting activities. Why spend money on magazines like Outdside which offer a mixture of outings for the ultra-wealthy, homo-erotic photography, and advertising, when you can come here for free and see what the world within an hour or two of New York City has to offer. Whether it's cycling Route 9W and the Palisades Interstate Parkway, hiking the mountains of the Catskills, bouldering in Central Park, or Strapping a snowboard on in any of the many sub-standard mountains of the northeast, you're sure to find myself and my band of merry adventurers having a good time and really enjoying life a little more than your average metro area nine to fiver. So I invite you all (I have recalculated ,by the way, and my original estimate of several millions is off, using the "amount of merry adventurers times family member algorithm" I have put the estimated amount of readers at a more humble figure of 5-10) to read along with each new mini adventure or come along and see for yourself why perhaps the writers strike was the best thing that could ever happen....unless you are a union writer, or tv critic.
Cheers
Jeremy

Next stop...Habitat trails in Belmont, MA with Isabelle and Henry around Turtle pond.
I'm with Leah, although I think I would want to try a more difficult hike in MA... STABILicers are really the best for these hikes, I agree.
